The supporting information tables are the backbone of the database. When you are entering an Object, many of the required fields will be selected from these tables. For example, the Location of your Object is selected from the Locations table. This makes your data entry process easier and more accurate.

You have (almost) complete control over the values in the supporting information tables. To successfully use the Museum Archive software, you should carefully plan out and enter values that match the structure that you design. New values can be entered at any time, but it never hurts to start off with a solid foundation.
