The Object's Notes page lets you record and view an unlimited number of Notes about this Object.

 

The premium edition (version 2.8) added Note Templates. You can easily configure templates and use them to create Object Notes containing the information you need. More information is available in the Note Templates topic.

Select referenced file, View referenced file buttons - these buttons allow you to embed an external file in a note. For example, you could make a reference to a PDF document. By selecting a file using the Select button, you care adding the following text to the beginning of your note: [file name]. It works the same way that an email attachment works. You can view the file by clicking on the View button. The referenced file is not a part of your database, and the contents of the referenced file do not appear in reports or queries.

 

Note Date - enter a valid date - Required - the button to the left of the entry box will open up a calendar look-up window

 

Note Text  - a maximum of 2,000 characters - Text of the note
